About Austin Flower Co

About Us

Austin Flower Co. was founded in the summer of 1996. The three founders were and remain innovators in the floral industry. With a combined 60+ years experience, in 1996 they dreamed of a way to bring the freshest flowers direct to the Austin flower buying public. Their dream was realized with the birth of A.F.C. a European style flower market with the finest cut flowers, fresh greens, as well as blooming and foliage plants.

By buying our product direct from the farms, we are the floral wholesaler for many local flower shops as well as many independent wedding and special event artists. And we also sell retail to the public. This allows us to honor our philosophy of always striving to sell the highest quality product at a reasonable price. In the long run we become partners in the success of our customers' events and businesses.

Testimonials

Austin Chronicle Winner 1997 "Best Place to Go Bloomin' Crazy"

You supplied the flowers for the wedding of my son, on Oct.11, 2008. As you can see from the pictures, the flowers were spectacular and one of the things that made the wedding so special. You spent lots of time helping the Bride decide on exactly what she wanted and she was very particular since flowers were very important to her. So thanks from all of us, we''ll tell our friends.

Rose Ann Roth

The White Rose Society would like to thank you all for the support and hard work that you have done for our organization this year in acquiring more than 10,000 roses and helping us spread the message of Holocaust remembrance and genocide awareness throughout the UT and Austin community. This year the distribution of 10,000 roses was a huge success – bringing awareness to many people who may not have known about genocides of the past or present, from the Holocaust to the ongoing genocide in Darfur. Your support is invaluable to helping us spread that message.

In addition to the 10,000 roses for Holocaust Memorial Day, you also assisted us in acquiring white roses for our campaign at the capitol to pass Senate Bill 247, the "Stop the Darfur Genocide Act". We lobbied with white roses – giving senators and congressman a white rose with information about divestment attached to it. We are pleased that the bill unanimously passed the House on May 15, 2007 and will be signed by Governor Rick Perry in the coming weeks. We could not have been as successful and had such a visible presence this year without the unwavering support of Austin Flower Company.

Once again, thank you so much for your support of our organization and everything you do for the White Rose Society and the Austin community.

Sincerely, The White Rose Society

I'd like to thank you for your outstanding service in regards to my recent rose order for Ridgeview Middle School Dance Department. The roses were beautiful and we sold all of them!

Sincerely, Alison Ivy
